"Effie Mayfeather was wandering the streets at night, near midnight, looking to the left, to the right, to see if anyone is out there...She had to carry water from a well. She needed that to cook and clean. Even after she gave one of the golden cats as gift, there were still many piggies and two cats.

In the air it smelled like amazing flowers...in the trees and in the gardens. Everywhere was silence. You can say prayers if nobody is in the gardens, you can hear whispers inside the houses, or near the open windows.

After a while, it smelled like cookies, raspberry or apple tarts, rubarb pies. Effie took a few buckets of water, then returned home, struggling heavily to carry them by herself. Under the black trees, the night forest birds called their kind or created unknown songs for the lonely spectators.

When she drank sparkling water there, a man passed by...She was lucky that she had a cape to hide...to be unrecognisable.

- Why is this happening to me?

- You should have listened to me...

- I helped people, I worked till I dropped. But some people heard me yelling...so they told others I'm crazy. Now how can I escape from them?

It was too much work and I got too tired...then a woman called Kathleen who was crazy came to our house and shouted...then I screamed too, mirroring her behavior. When I was arguing with a family member, I yelled. I did that because I felt that I couldn't escape my fate and my ex lover, who was obsessed of me. I wasn't like him because of my high standards.
He didn't want to leave, so I raised my voice.

Maybe someone who dislikes me heard it and assumed I'm the problem. But I wasn't.

All I wanted was to kiss that boy again...the polar boy. Then everything would be fine.
What was his name? Perhaps Travis or Elijah Jones."

She remembered vividly the polar boy, who met her in the park last month, when he was with his friend, saying:

"There goes my wife".

And she was once again hypnotised and said:

"Yes it's true. I'm his wife...I love him."

He was there and all she could do is smile. One of the happiest days of her life.
But she couldn't be with him, because he was a pocket thief.

One good thing about him was, he reminded her of her father.

Effie and her brother have lost their childhood house, because a guy who opened a horrible tavern in her father's yard, said he will take care of her father if he gives to him his whole house...and made him sign the contract, promising him great things only to get what he wanted.

But the kids are nothing?

Her earthly father doesn't want to leave her anything...even if that house was her childhood home. When Granny and Grandpa came to visit, back in the childhood, to spend time with their grandchildren, to plant many trees and veggies in the garden, in spring time.

They came there to help her mom and dad, while they were at work. They came to talk to Effie and her brother, to play with then, to read stories, to teach them important things, to watch over them.

But after all these years, a man with moustache stole their childhood home.

And a black woman dressed in white, who wanted to steal her father's fortune and to ruin the family relationships was also coming to his house anytime she wanted. She had the key. But his children couldn't.

Effie planned to find or gain a huge fortune, to buy back her father's house. But it was too risky. The risks are too great...

She needed her heroes to help her."
